Although the details of everything are still blurry SP lost one of most legendary members, here from the jump off.... Crazy individual and amazing skateboarder...

Derek was so chill and funny. He was definitely a ripper. One of the most talented skateboarders I've seen on SP.

He was definitely a ripper and a chill kid, he really helped me out trying to get my friend sponsored and gave me some good advice. A real loss

I was never around when all of the OG stories were posted. But, I have spent loads of time reading through his old stories and posts. My only (brief non-aim) encounter with him, was when he posted his number. I called him, and listened to him so robot impressions. I laughed, and then hung up. This is a complete shock to me, especially dying from skating. He will be missed by all, and my best wishes go to his family. The donation idea is great, and I will no-doubt donate.
