being able to pull a vx1000 out of your bag and knowing that your a complete badass. and having all the kids stare at you bc they know you have a fucking sick camera with a handle..... haha

Filming lines of someone who has the opposite stance of you. Filming across yourself/riding switch can be annoying at times.

pulling the camera out of the bag,
putting that huge extended battery on,
twisting on the fisheye,
capturing those "had to be there" moments,
rolling along filming lines,
that feeling of finally marking the clip,
perfect long lens shots,
switching the tape to the cap. cam,
editing all night,
being super stoked.

Damn, this was true in like '99. Who doesn't have a vx now?
and i only let 2 kids film fisheye cause one used to film and the other is super atrsy and he knows what looks good. my filmer footy actually comes out pretty good.

yeah everyone and their mom has one. my friend who is clueless about cameras got a VX2000 and he uses steadyshot, sunshade, stands far away, use automatic settings, put stickers on the camera, and captures on it. and I have a GS120 and my footy is better. facepalm

The things I like most about filming is trying to keep my composure when an awesome trick is landed.
I also love ordering sony premium tapes in bulk and getting them in the mail! Haha...

depends on the area. where i lived and go to school now the only decent setups for about 100 miles are my buddys gl2 and my vx21 ha.Damn, this was true in like '99. Who doesn't have a vx now?
but yeah... if someone pulled out a vx i wouldnt think anything of it. hmc/xtreme... yeah id be lookin ha.
I guess ill contribute even though im not very optimistic ha.
Being perfectly content with a clip is rad, doesnt happen very often but yeah. ha

The night when your editing through all the footage you got that day and you stay up as long as it takes until you finish and post it on youtube, than the next day reading the positive comments and hearing from your friends how hyped they are on it. Love that shit
