R.I.P derek,i thought i wasnt gonna make it back when i was younger(i was riding off a plastic kicker ramp which slid out under me and i got a concussion and was 2 inches or so away from hitting a part of my skull that wouldve killed me.shred in heaven though man

I loved Derek, he would always talk to me on aim about all sorts of stuff and always had something interesting to say. He was one of the first friends I made over the boards and I still can't believe he's gone. He had some of the most epic stories to tell and will always be missed by anyone that talked to him or skated with him.
