are audi's known for their depeanable engines? i'm looking at 97-01 a4's with a little more than 130,000 miles. I don't want to buy the car and the it dies on me in another 20,000 miles.

just change the timing belt if you do get one and your fine. they are know for timing belts going like the VW's. so just change it every 75k and your good.

I haven't gone since before summer. It's definitely good for some laughs though. If we had a track i might be able to take it more serious but... My buddy has been talking to the guy who used to do the autocross stuff in town. If we can get some people that would be down and a parking lot to use he'll give us the cones, timers, etc. hopefully we can get something going. |

See now autocross is a real event, something I wish more young people could get into. I go there every once in awhile, my uncles a big drag racer. Most of the older guys are cool but the younger kids who are driving daddys camaro are douche bags. i've never been to any other event besides little car shows around the state. I'll try and find the footage of my uncle in pinks. |
