So i get on my myspace and i see that i have 1 new message...turns out its from baker skateboards, they said they saw some photos i took of them at a altamont team signing in may.they then said that they are wanting to use them for their site/page.so they took up my info and everything so they could give me the proper photo cred...im so stoked haha

ya i dont know, i just feel like a dick asking for their money...but i went ahead and sent them a message back asking for a paycheck of at least 30 bucks wich isnt anything but i do kinda want a little money hahaif there not willing to pay you, you should ask for product instead.

You feel like a dick asking a multi-million dollar company for money in compensation for them using your photo for THEIR benefit? They don't feel like dicks asking you for $50 for a 7 ply piece of wood.

If you read, its of a demo and its for their website, which will probably be a blog post. they also got at him on Myspace! So it being for web stuff, depending on what it is i usually wouldn't charge them, ie; blog post's, team photo page pictures, etc, etc. If i was working for a company and i got an invoice for a picture going up on a new's page i would be slightly angered, and would probably ignore it.
In your situation i would say photo credit would be adequate.
