That's what I mean. On the manybrand set at 3.5 the footage looks awful I was wondering if the 14mm was the same at 2.8 because if not it seems like it'd be a really useful lens! Does it focus to infinity on all settings like the 8mm does?

no I mean like on the rokinon 8mm everything looks in focus all the time. Is this lens the same?

Nope, completely different. you can get nice shallow depth of field with it if required. I took some pics of the show on it last week, I'll have a dig through and see if any are relevant to present.

If you're using a cropped sensor, I've got a friend who has a vintage Nikon 14mm lens and he gets great footage with it at concerts.

Ordered a Jag35 Rod Riser clamp + some 6' Jag35 Rails. I'm glad to finally be able to use my follow focus on my camera with a battery grip.

Ordered a new Transcend 16gb Class 10 as well.

Also grabbed one of these. At $12 and no reviews I figured it couldn't hurt to try it out.

It's a temporary item until I order a Articulating arm + Rod clamp. I gotta have somewhere for my monitor + Mic. The hot shoe can only hold so much haha
