In this topic I will be talking about the canon eos rebel Xs and T1i.
During me having both of them, I developed skill with the T1i more than I did with the Xs.
To Start with the Xs...
This is a very fine starter DSLR because of its easiness to use and handy features.
This Is a perfect camera for any entry level, or aspiring photographer.
I first attempted Camcoder filming, but this wasnt for me.
I got my first SLR, the Xs for christmas. That was a very exciting purchase.
The Xs does not have as many features as the T1i, obviously not the HD video.
As you can tell, i do not have much to say about the Xs.
For the T1i, I am loving the HD video.
I have a 1080p test on youtube with suprising quality for a HDVSLR of this level.
I believe that filmmaking with DSLR cameras is under-rated.
People believe that the DSLR cameras will just have a cheap, bad quality video setting in my opinion.
But overall if you have the money please consider an HDVDLSR such as the T1i or 7D.
Thank you. JohnP

Fail.
DSLR film making is not under-rated.
If you want to film with a HDSLR you most certainly do not get the T1i.
Something tells me that you don't have a clue about what your talking about.
You haven't even given a real comparison.
I also do not understand why you would bother upgrading to a T1i from a Xs, it's hardly an improvement.

im running an xs right now sup den
this post does suck
xs isnt too bad though but shutter lag is 3x the length of my old 1d's and half the shutter speed makes timing skate photos much more difficult and precise for me
hopefully will have a 7d by beginnig of next year anyways
