How Can I Import Dv Onto My New Pc Windows 7 64 Bit?

well i just bought a new pc, the thing is beast! but on my xp i just used motiondvstudio that came with my panny gs 320, but i can't install that since i now use windows 7 and it is 64 bit, and i can't use my firewire cable anymore( i do have a usb but i heard firewire was better quality) anyways ill just use the usb, but could some of you post some other legit free/crackable recording programs? thanks in advence!

you can just use windows movie maker to capture. the quality doesn't come out that bad at all. or vegas if you have it. or pretty much any editing program has the ability to capture tape.

oke, lol movie maker, but ill definetly try it, i have ae cs 5 and premiere pro cs 5 already, had vegas on my old pc but i wanted to use premiere but that old pc couldn't handle it. anyways thanks!

if you have premiere why aren't you just capturing with that?
