Just got my vx1000 and every time I go to log a clip in a message pops up stating.. "the audio sample rate of one or more of your captured media files does not match the sample rate on your source tape.." basically I googled that I keep reading stuff saying "you need to set your presets to 32khz instead of having it at 48khz." Which would be all fine and dandy but I'm not seeing anywhere in the drop box where all the presets are showing any 32khz. Is there anything I can do?

You have to manually create that preset. Go to audio/video settings, make a copy of the DV NTSC 48khz capture preset and edit the copy of it. You'll be able to set the audio to 12 bit / 32khz.
