    HD setups with footages

The fisheye in this was filmed in 4:3 anamorphic on GH5 (with Canon 8-15) as well: Fisheye filmed at 4K anamorphic with the lens at 8mm with a Viltrox EF M2 and then cropped down into a 1440 x 1080 timeline. The zooming long lens was AC90 at 1080p60.

    Which DSLR fisheye setup?

The Canon 8-15 is (in my opinion) the only fisheye that can compare to the Xtreme. Actually, there's a Nikon 8-15 as well which I'm sure is comparable, but I know absolutely nothing about Nikon bodies. If you get a Canon full frame body, you'll have basically full circle vignetting at 8mm and you can zoom all the way in to no vig at 15mm. With an APS-C sensor (1.6x crop) you'll have a lot of vig (HPX/MK2-ish but softer) at 8mm. There are SO many options once you decide what size sensor you want, but price is usually a determining factor. If you want full frame I'd look at 5D MK2 (older camera, 30fps max, probably around $500 used) or 6D (a bit newer, shoots 720p60, $600ish used, $1000ish new). If you want APS-C there are TONS of cheap new/used options that shoot 720p60.
  6. $10 shipped to Canada and the US! http://overtimevideo.bigcartel.com/ I've posted these before, but here are a couple teasers:
  7. Yeah, there was no Instagram (or even iPhones) when SP was really in its prime. There was hardly even YouTube, so this was the best/only place to watch skating. Remember posting videos on blip.tv to be able to play back the original Quicktime files? Or those weird free website hosting sites?
  8. The AC90 audio defaults to a weird 5.1 surround sound thing that I didn't feel like taking the time to mess with, so some of the audio sounds a bit weird. But basically just wanted to try out mixing GH5 fisheye and AC90 long lens at full HD 4:3.

Yeah, I already use the -10db setting but didn't change anything up since last time. That level limiter may help though. I don't think an HPX with Mk1 screw would work as the Mk1 back element is pretty small. I wasn't sure how I was going to edit and shit so I was just filming some slowmo stuff and ended up wanting to have it full speed but not take the time to properly convert it, which is why some of it seems a little choppy I think. And yeah, Sam is the best!
  12. Still testing out the GH5, figuring out what looks best. This camera blows my mind every time I use it. The fisheye was shot at 4K in the anamorphic mode and cropped down to 1440 x 1080, and the long stuff was all 1080p 120fps sped up.
  13. Yeah, that's the one I bought. Shipping has taken over a month though.
  14. Thanks for the feedback! I think that flare is due to the cheap adapter I'm using. I've been waiting for a speedbooster to show up for like a month now. And yeah, this was shot at 8mm and then cropped, but I think those flares would be there at all lengths. I'm using the Rode VideoMic Pro R and yeah, on manual. I haven't really messed around too much with it, but maybe turning the high pass filter on would help? Definitely because of a cheap variable ND. I don't mind it for stuff like this, but I probably would work around it or get a new one if I was shooting something other than random park clips.
  15. Trying out a new GH5 at the park the other day: All of it shot with a Sigma 18-35 and Canon 8-15. The GH5 is fucking incredible.
