  1. I'm selling my Century Optics .45x Fisheye lens that fits on the Panasonic HMC150 and HPX170 cameras. The lens is in perfect Condition and the only reason I'm selling it is because I sold all of my gear. Let me know if you're interested. At BH they sell new for $430.00, I'll obviously go lower. Email me at mikezorger@gmail.com. The Century Precision Optics 0HD-FEAD-AG is a 0.45x fisheye adapter with a bayonet mount designed to attach to the front of Panasonic AG-HPX170 and AG-HMC150 camcorders. Providing a dramatically distorted wide-angle through 75% of the camera's zoom range, the adapter's 114° horizontal view creates a pleasing aesthetic that makes it ideal for surveillance and extreme sports documentation. Century's Pro Series offers quality professional lens accessories designed to help you go wider, reach further, and move in closer than the lens on your HPX170/HMC150 alone allows. Century's superb optics provide the finest professional images. These state-of-the-art add-ons minimize chromatic aberrations and unwanted distortion and produce images that are ultra-sharp edge-to-edge. Most of Century's accessories interface directly with the bayonet mount at the front of the lens, so mounting and removing are quick and easy. Type Fisheye Adapter Lens Compatibility Panasonic AG-HPX170 Panasonic AG-HMC150 Lens Mount Bayonet Mounting Directly to Camera Zoom Through Up to 75% of zoom range Magnification 0.45x Filter Size Not specified by manufacturer Dimensions (WxH) 3.9 x 0.95" (100 x 24 mm) Weight 7.6 oz (213g)

  4. I have a Panasonic Dvx100a setup that I am looking to get rid of. I've been in college now for some time and just don't use it anymore, and could use the money. I've only used Sony Premium tapes and the camera has never experience any hits or drops. I've also used a capture cam to reduce the likelihood of dirty heads, and that has only seen Sony Premiums as well. Setup: Dvx100a, great condition. Lowepro bag, fits everything really nice. (lenses, batteries, tapes) Century Optics MK2 (dvx version), glass is pristine, no scratches at all. 3 batteries Battery charger Lens cleaner & microfiber cloth 1 Sony Premium tape. I am willing to split the camera with the bag and accessories, and then obviously I will split the lens as well. I am looking for around $900 for the camera and bag etc., and would split the lens for around $450. I am more than willing to negotiate for prices. I can post pictures on here if people are that interested, otherwise feel free to text me whenever for pictures and negotiating. (262)527-6426 Thanks, Eli.
  5. i just bough this flash, i was taking some test shots in my room, this happens every time/ im using a rokinon fisheye
  6. I was looking for Opteka 0.3x alternatives and came across this: http://www.jollystar.com/72mm-0-3x-ultra-fisheye-lens.html I haven't seen anyone mentioning this lens on SkatePerception but maybe someone tried it before? It doesn't look like the same thing as Opteka, it's made by other company with their own design. I asked the company about price and it was 149$ with shipping to Poland, Europe. Not that expensive. BTW. They also have 0.4x in their offer.

  8. Hello all, Haven't posted on here in years but it's good to be back! I'm selling my mint condition sony VX1000 with a Century Optics .3x ultra fisheye MK1 AKA deathlens. She's in perfect working condition and was serviced fairly recently by Kerry at VideoElectronics in Reading, MA (full tune-up including head cleaning and ribbon cable replacement). The lens is in perfect condition as well. This camera has NEVER been hit by any skateboards, shoes, heads, the ground, etc. I will also include a camera bag, lens cleaning kit, head cleaning tape, some new tapes (sony premiums, of course) and whatever else I find lying around my apartment that is camera related. I'm selling the ENTIRE package for $800. I can ship but would prefer to meet in or around New York City as that is where I live. Email me at davejnoonan@gmail.com if you're interested, have any questions, concerns, whatever. I should respond promptly. Thanks! Dave

    Mk1 Mk2 Bayo Rings

are the bayo rings the same threading for both? I know they're 72mm but there's a half inch gap before you get to the threads on an mk2 and I've never taken an mk1 apart. for example: I have a vx1000 and was wondering if a bayo would work on an mk2 and an mk1.

    Lens Scratch Repair

Hey guys I recently just scratched up my MK1 lens sadly and I just wanted to post to this to see if anyone knows any methods I could try or if anyone has tried any of those methods successfully. The scratch is not too bad, it's just a little bothersome for me because I want to have the best looking clips that I can. If anyone could help me with this that would be very wonderful!

  20. Just a thought while I'm sitting in class. Why has no one ever tried to make a major in skateboarding cinematography/photography? It could be a very successful title to have when you apply for various filming opportunities. Different classes for every aspect of the art. I don't know just a thought. Let me know what you think?! -Tyler
  21. Hi all, I have an Xtreme for sale, going for around £1995, happy to ship across the pond. It has a small scratch which does not show up on footage. Insurance gave me a new one so i have no need for it and i need the money. I can provide photos & footage. I want a nice easy and most of all honest sale. Get in touch if you're keen! Santiago.
  22. I was just curious if there was a giant difference between opteka fisheyes and say century optics. I was contemplating in saving money and just getting the opteka 58mm death lens or just get an Mk1 for christmas. At the moment I have some random fisheye I got from my friend. its alright. Just really want something better. Let me know guys thanks -Tyler
