  1. Here's something I just found out that will be of immense value to many editors. Using Adobe Audition, you can automatically have it stretch your song at just the right spots in order to have it fit whatever duration your looking for. I know for me personally, I would always have to go in and re-edit songs at just the right point in order for it to seamlessly transition and, in turn, lengthen the song for the skater's part. Without further ado, I'll let this dude take it over (I skipped to the actual content for your convenience): I've tested this out over the last hour, throwing all sorts of different genres at it. It's honestly surprising how well it does across the board. Enjoy.
  2. When I go to import .mov files to Adobe Premiere the clips have no sound. I have yet to find a solution. I need help finding the sound to the clips or finding a way to import the clip without it subtracting the sound.

  4. I have some footage I shot with my HVX200. It was shot at 480i/60i with the squeeze option on (NO letterbox). So my questions are: 1. What are the correct timeline settings/capture method for this footage. Is it DV NTSC widescreen, or DVCPRO50 NTSC widescreen? Or do you capture it in 4:3 because it is not really widescreen? Read about this somewhere and trying to get this cleared up so I can get the footage imported/exported and back out to where it needs to go. 2. What is going to happen when I mix 720p/60p footage with this? I will have to de-interlace the 480i/60i clips... correct? I am second guessing myself. I feel like I should know all this. Thanks

  6. Can't Capture Footage From Dvx

I have a windows vista desktop that does not have a firewire port, so I tried using a wire that connects from the audio video slots on the camera and has connects to usb slot. Whenever I try to capture with adobe premiere elements 8, it doesn't recognize the device. This used to work on my windows 7 laptop for sony vegas, but my laptop is broken and I don't have vegas anymore. Can someone help me find some wire or anything that will let me capture on my vista through elements 8?
  7. I have the entire Adobe CS5 suite, so I should have the program capable of doing this effect. It's right in the beginning, where it's his name and once he pushes the letters disappear as his foot goes by. I've seen this done in a few different videos, but this one seems to be my favorite. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  10. As I have started to earn money on my filmmaking, I'm planning on buying Adobe's software. (Yes, I downloaded it.). The question is if I should wait for the next version, or buy the current, CS6. Does anybody know when CS7, or whatever it will be called comes out? Since I'm going to buy the Student and Teacher edition, I won't be able to upgrade..
  11. This is my first time filming/editing ever. I know it's not that great, but please tell me what you think. All filmed and edited in one day at the local park and street spots. I'm the guy who did the tre flip at the start. Filmed on a Canon t4i/650d with a 18-55mm kit lens and a Opteka 6.5mm fisheye, with the Opteka x-grip mk II handle. Edited on After Effects and Premiere Pro Cs5.5. Watch in HD, it makes a big difference.
