    Help Needed

Wow it's been 3 years since I've been on SP... Lesson learned: never let anyone or anything get between you and your camera! Does anyone know how I can get the full version of FCP 7?! I used to be deep in the filming life. Had a filmer board, desktop mac, final cut 7, and my precious vx2 mk2 set up. But then life happened and fucked all that up and I had nothing at one point. I just ordered a vx2 and bought a MacBook Pro. Ive been patient and have honestly tried to use FCP X but its way too simple for me, its like i might as well be using windows movie maker. Or if you know something similar to it that would be helpful too. The dreams of being a filmer again are so close. Anything helps! Thanks!
  2. I need your help guys, Im currently using FCP X to edit clips, and when I export/play back the footage the audio messes up and plays the music from 1 speaker and the noise from the clips through the other speaker. (peep the link below and you'll see what I mean) Any advise/info would be much appriciated Thanks Harry

  9. Ok well first off, I just got FCP 7 and when I export from it my footage looks like crap. So I (I know theres already a thread about this somewhere on here) cant figure out really good exporting settings in fcp. Ok, I also have another problem, so like I have MPEG stream clip to strech the footage to 740x480 and I also have quicktime pro, and what ever im doing really isnt working. Heres the footage: Ok this is just default straight from FCP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hITLcDLPVro This is strached through MPEG (740x480): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFBvn-B5mSw Ok, first when I start to upload it it says "file format not recognized" then when it finishes theres the sucky green line on the right hand side. Ok now this it through quicktime pro (custom 740x480): www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMFkVWEuNrA When it finshed uploading it said like "size not compatible" and resized it to 4:3 HELP!!!!!!!! P.S Ik the filming sucks
  10. This could just be me but, I feel like I'm losing the full quality of my footage when I log in clips. It'll look really good in the capture viewer but once I upload the clip and check it out I feel like it just loses a good bit of its quality. Is this normal? Or are there good capture pre set settings out there when uploading vx1000 footage. Any help would be much appreciated!
