Canon 15mm Vs Sigma 15mm

Recommended Posts

So, I'm having trouble deciding what fisheye to get for my 6D. In the end it came down to these two because they fall within my budget. I hear they both have vignetting in the corners, is this true?
Anyway, what it comes down to is which is better than which?

if you need a fisheye now, buy the canon 15mm 2.8, if you can wait, save up for the 8-15mm because it will outlast the 15mm in terms of resolving power and the ability to work on almost any camera, sensor size and aspect ratio. you could always invest in a better prime like a sigma 24/35/50mm 1.4 art, a canon 100mm macro or 135mm f/2, all great primes under $1000.
