The Scene File Thread

Recommended Posts

i know this is a noob question, but what are scene files?

on the DVX, theres these settings you use to make your film look amazing, and you can manipulate the shit out of shots by them.its almost like post inside the cam, you can set your picture like however you want

I don't know, screen grabs might be bad, but oh well.

You need to see something with more stuff going on. Film your kitchen or something.

depending on the situation, i like to have detail level up a bit, chroma level up a little, color temp down a bit, and master ped down a bit, just for nicer (to me) contrast

Yeah I'm definitely feeling a dvc30 scene file thread. Too bad I still haven't had a chance to take mine outside on a nice day. But when I do I'll definitely share.

lol, hate to say it, but I just use the normal 24Pa stuff. I like doing my stuff more in post. Much more fun.

i dont really know much about the dvx but when you shoot 24pa do you not use the scene files or something?

People should post footage with the scene file so we can actually see what it looks like, for the people who don't have a dvx yet i mean.

EDIT: I don't know why but the 24p footy look like interlaced???????

i want to bump this topic, just because i'm pretty new to the dvx world and seeing as though tons of kids on sp are now using dvxs maybe there will be more contribution to the thread and maybe if the people would be ever so kind they could show screen grabs with the settings they give so we can see the look
